The following are a few examples of work, other than relining operations, that we have recently undertaken.

Project :	CULVERT INSPECTIONS AND CLEARANCES - SUTTON ON SEA AND ALFORD AREAS

Ferro Monk Systems Limited, one of the UK’s leading Sewer and Pipeline renovation specialists, were awarded this contract to carry out extensive CCTV and Cleaning in pipes and culverts in the Blue Flag awarded holiday resort of Sutton on Sea on the East Coast of Lincolnshire and in the market town of Alford, some 6 miles inland.

With an original contract period of 20 weeks, the works were actually completed in less than half of that time and comprised:-

 

 

Each survey was presented to the client in digital format accompanied by a hard copy report incorporating colour photographs and fully detailing the nature and position of any faults and features using the highly regarded WinCan system.

Over 5200 metres of structure were surveyed, ranging from 450mm in diameter to 1700mm x 2500mm box sections.

Jetter Vactor units were employed to clean the pipe using high pressure water and to then vacuum the resultant arisings into a collection tank for removal off site.

This project follows similar works in other localities for this and other Drainage
Boards over the last few years by Ferro Monk Systems. In addition Ferro Monk have also carried out renovation works on Drainage Board assets using CIPP lining for small and medium diameters and their own patented Ferrocement system for Man Entry sizes.
